Our first feature...Emmanuel Mantey of Obuasi, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana

Emmanuel was selected three years ago with a request by Caleb Page, President and CEO of GFUUPSS... to find a deserving young man or woman in one of the poorest areas of Ghana....someone highly motivated and desirous of higher education. We find the Emmanuel's story very compelling and worthy of being the first lead story on GFUUPSS website. Emmanuel has been awarded a full 4-year scholarship by GFUUPSS to attend the Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion Senior High School, and will graduate in 2014. Emmanuel story is not unique, and could be found in any country...from Africa to the Caribbean to South America...to the United States and United Kingdom ...where lack of opportunity to the poor and minorities still exist.
