Donations are requested to provide a pit toilet facility for a primary school in rural Manchester, Jamaica WI. The facility is in dire condition resulting in occasional illness and subsequent absences of the children from school. The children do not like the condition and at times seek alternative means to use.
We, at Global Foundation to Upgrade Underserved Primary and Secondary Schools (GFUUPSS), need approximately $22,000 to construct a new toilet facility for the children. We have received some funding from an international donor but this is insufficient to cover labor and material costs. Any donation you can give would be appreciated.
